The policy proposals set forth in the package are meaningful and can have a tremendous impact on local businesses and neighborhoods.
“We are thankful that 30 alders have endorsed the Chicago Small Business Package,” said SBAC President Elliot Richardson. “This bold package of reforms will support small businesses and foster economic development in Chicago. Our next step is to work with alders to file ordinances and spearhead policy changes that will lead to the enactment of these reforms. This is crucial time for Chicago policymakers to support local businesses and communities.”
"The Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that the Small Business Advocacy Council, with the support of a powerful coalition, has secured 30 aldermanic endorsements for the Chicago Small Business Package,” said Felicia Slaton-Young, Executive Director of the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce. This legislation will significantly reduce red tape for our city's entrepreneurs, making it easier and more affordable for them to start and grow their businesses."
“The South Shore community will greatly benefit from reforms that will make it easier for local businesses to open, grow and create jobs,” said Tonya Trice, Executive Director of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. We want to create an environment where businesses can focus on growth instead of navigating difficult processes.”
The SBAC looks forward to spreading the word about the Chicago Small Business Package and the significant measures contained therein.
